Naphthalene Concentrate

General Characteristics
Naphthalene concentrate is a solid white to yellowish substance with characteristic odour, with high content of naphthalene. It is manufactured by distillation of pyrolysis gas oil at ethylene production. Naphthalene concentrate is harmful to human health and very toxic to aquatic organisms.

Naphthalene Concentrate is used as an intermediate for the production of naphthalene and is used during its whole life cycle under strictly controlled conditions defined in article 18(4) of Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006 REACH.

The product is classified as hazardous pursuant to Act No. 350/20011 Coll. and corresponding EU legal regulations (Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 CLP, Directive No 67/548/EHS or Directive No 1999/45/EC.

Packaging, Storage, Transportation
Naphthalene concentrate must be stored in tightly closed containers. It is delivered in steel railway tanks.
