With regards to a leakage of pyrolytic gasolines to the Bílina River in the Czech Republic, the Management of Unipetrol RPA informs that immediate measures have been adopted to stop the leakage of chemicals.
Litvínov, December 28, 2009 – “The situation is completely under control. We have immediately implemented preventive measures to avoid such situations in the future. Moreover, more strict system of controls has been set up over the production facilities. We are also conducting an ongoing investigation aimed at clarifying the cause of failure. I would like to sincerely apologize anyone who was touched by the occurred circumstances,” said Jan Martinek spokesman of Unipetrol RPA.
