Unipetrol to clean riverbanks of oil

The Unipetrol RPA Fire Brigade continues the process of cleaning Bílý Potok.
Mechanical cleansing of the banks which started today is one of the preventative measures undertaken after the leak which took place in the afternoon of Dec 23rd.

Litvínov, January 8, 2010 - The Unipetrol RPA Fire Brigade continues the process of cleaning Bílý Potok. Mechanical cleansing of the banks which started today is one of the preventative measures undertaken after the leak which took place in the afternoon of Dec 23rd and was stopped already on that same day. The extent and procedure of the work was approved by the Czech Environmental Inspectorate. The cleansing will be performed on Friday 8 th January and Monday 11 th January, in the presence of representatives from Povodí Ohre and the Czech Environmental Inspectorate.
