Notice of Termination of Obstacle – Force Majeure Event
We refer to our notice on occurrence and continuation of a force majeure event dated 12 May 2023 regarding an accident in the production plant in Litvínov – Záluží, the Czech Republic, causing, among others, an unplanned shutdown of the Polypropylene 2 unit (the “Notice”).
We are pleased to inform you that the obstacle – the force majeure event notified by the Notice terminated on 6 June 2023 and, consequently, from that moment ORLEN Unipetrol RPA s.r.o. is able to resume performance of obligations under contractual arrangements with its business partners.
