General Characteristics

Unleaded mogases represent the hydrocarbon blend usually boiling within 20 to 215°C, obtained from crude oil through distillation and other refining processes. They may contain additives that enhance their application characteristics, e.g. oxygenous components, detergents, antiknock, antioxidative and other additives.

Application

Unleaded mogases are mainly applied in spark-ignition engines of road motor vehicles. They are not allowed to be used in vehicles operating within confined workplaces. Unleaded mogases are designed especially for modern-type spark-ignition engines equipped with catalyst and lambda probe controlled.

General Characteristics

Super Plus is a high-octane petrol in E10 quality specially developed to increase engine performance and reduce frictional losses, the energy produced during combustion is further efficiently used, thus reducing the amount of fuel consumed, it does not contain conventional bio-oil, but ETBE (ethyl tertiary-butyl ether) is added to it, which has a positive effect on the calorific value of the fuel, better oxidation stability and does not bind water, which negatively affects engine performance and corrosion.

Application

This type of petrol is suitable for sporty driving in cars with a higher compression ratio, for sport motorcycles and light sport aircraft.

Additive gasoline

General Characteristics

Unleaded automotive gasoline BA 95 with the addition of an additive, which has the following improved properties compared to standard automotive gasoline:

  • improved lubricity and associated reduced engine friction, leading to higher engine performance

  • anti-corrosion properties which extend the life of the engine and protect its sensitive parts

  • suppression of the formation of emulsions and deposits, which protects the engine against wear, reduces its noise and reduces mechanical stress on the engine crank mechanism

  • due to its lower foaming, it facilitates refuelling in vehicles at petrol stations

Application

Additive unleaded automotive gasoline is used for the petrol engines of road motor vehicles. Its main advantages are reduced fuel consumption, reduced emissions, higher performance and protection of the sensitive parts of the engine and fuel system against corrosion. If you use additive gasoline, you will particularly appreciate the reduction in fuel consumption, corrosion protection, restoration of previous performance in older engines and maintenance of the best condition in new engines. Last but not least, you will find improved removal of carbon deposits and prevention of their formation.

General characteristics

Diesel fuel is a mixture of liquid hydrocarbons obtained from petroleum by distillation and hydrogenation refining, boiling in the range of 150 to 370°C. Diesel fuel grades can contain additives to improve their utility characteristics as depressants, detergents, lubrication additives and corrosion inhibitors.

Application

Diesel oils are used as fuel for diesel engines or fuel for some types of gas turbines as well.

General Characteristics of Diesel Fuel

Additive diesel improves some fuel properties:

  • the anti-corrosion property of the fuel prolongs the life of the engine and protects its sensitive parts

  • its composition suppresses the formation of emulsions and deposits, which protects the engine against wear, reduces its noise and reduces mechanical stress on the engine crank mechanism

  • due to the lower foaming, it facilitates refuelling in vehicles at petrol stations

Application

New-generation of additive diesel is used as fuel for diesel engines. Its main advantages are reduced fuel consumption, reduced emissions, higher performance and protection of the sensitive parts of the engine and fuel system against corrosion.

General Characteristics

It is subject to very strict quality inspections. Kerosene produced in our refinery meets the quality requirements of the "Aviation Fuel Requirements for Jointly Operated Systems (AFQRJOS)" as amended, which is a joint document of JIG members and was approved by ORLEN UNIPETROL RPA s.r.o. – RAFINÉRIE, registered branch, for direct use as a company standard with no modifications.

Application

Aviation kerosene is a fuel suitable for aircraft with turbine engines.
